Billy Connolly plays an Irish "flowerist" who is diagnosed with a brain tumour on the day he finds his wife in bed with the handyman. He then leaves town on an adventure which brings him into romantic contact with Sharon Stone, who plays -deep breath - an ex-stripper, alcholic, gambling addicted, mud-wrestling compere single mom (with one mixed race daughter and one white, mute, son) who has fallen foul of the mob. Phew. Connolly and Stone together rediscover love and good old family values in a crazy caper. Hmmm...
